Pulse College Galway

Welcome to the Home of Games Design Education in Galway

Galway has a reputation for being the home of the creative arts in Ireland. It’s hardly surprising that within Ireland Galway is fast becoming the biggest hub for games outside of Dublin.

Having firmly established itself as a leader in creative media education in Ireland, Pulse College arrived in Galway in 2013 and is currently offering a range of Full, Part Time and 6-Week Intro courses in Games Design & Development from our modern city centre campus at 1st Floor, Geata na Cathracha, Fairgreen Rd., Galway City.

Pulse College’s Video Games Development programs offers students the ability to gain a hands-on understanding of video games design and development processes. Students will be introduced to the various facets of video game development- design, art, programming, production, management and marketing- through a variety of individual and team projects, all taught and delivered by practicing industry professionals.

On this course industry practising tutors will take you through the full extent of the project life-cycle of video game development from game concept and project proposal, through to prototyping and iterative development process, right through to testing and deployment.

Students on both the full time and part time courses offered will be trained on the latest industry utilised software packages such as Unity, Adobe Photoshop, Autodesk 3Ds Max, Graphics Gale Pro, UDK and ProTools.
