Check out some of the pics from last weeks Live Gig Showcase, hosted by our 2nd Year Audio & Music Technology students. The gig, part of one of their course modules, took place in Windmill Lane Recording Studio 1 and they had the amazing Orchid Collective, Voxx and OWILDYOUTH performing over the course of the day. The project involved organising, managing, promoting a live event, and most importantly engineering the live gig.
“Course projects like this are invaluable for the students, giving them the chance to put into practice what they have been learning, getting them comfortable with real-world situations, including making mistakes on the job and learning how to deal with them.” – Niall, Head of Audio & Music Technology Department
