Fully Funded 1-Year Music Production for Games Certificate

Pulse College is delighted to announce that in collaboration with Griffith College, we have been awarded Springboard+ funding for the delivery of our Music Production for Games 1-Year Certificate. The Springboard+ funding is an initiative for unemployed people to gain qualifications and to up-skill (please read below for details on eligibility).

The programme is running from Mid-February 2016 and Pulse College / Griffith College are currently accepting applicants through Springboard+.

This programme embraces learners from a variety of musical backgrounds. Focus will be on practical and theoretical knowledge of games music production techniques as well as studying game interactivity to understand the crucial role music plays in modern day games. You will learn music production skills, recording techniques and composing techniques, as well as immersing yourself in sequencing, sampling and sound processing. A key part of the course involves producing a portfolio of work that will help you gain access to the exciting and rapidly developing games industry.

AM I ELIGIBLE?

Enrolling on a Springboard+ course for the unemployed can help you up-skill, change your career direction or pursue an area that has always been a passion! This course is available for job-seekers but regardless of how long you’re out of work, you can apply (provided you meet the other minimum criteria). You just need to have been in employment previously and are actively seeking a new job.

– Are actively seeking work
– Have been in employment previously
– Are unemployed for any length of time, however short
– Are receiving Dept of Social Protection payments like Jobseekers Benefit/Allowance
– Have previously been self employed

then you should be applicable for this fully subsidised programme!
